Wine filtration is historically one of the main applications of deep filtersheets. HOBRAFILT filtersheets are made of special types of high-quality cellulose fibres, diatomaceous earth and perlite, which form a three-dimensional deep filter with a large inner surface.

The presence of these adsorbents multiplies the filtration area and improves the filtration process. In the wine industry, filtration through filter cartridges is winning increasing recognition. CANDEFILT filter cartridges are naturally fully usable, among other applications, also in pre-filtration processes; especially, of course, for sterile filtration upstream of the bottling line. Module filtration is being used increasingly frequently in wine production.
