A filtersheet is essentially a three-dimensional, deep filter consisting of adsorbents of a large inner surface. This can be imagined as a labyrinth of little chambers and channels of different lengths inside the sheet where dirt is captured.

Orbifilt®Filter modules

Orbifilt filter modules are circular cut-outs from deep filtersheets, attached in a lenticular manner to a drainage body. A number of these disks are arranged in a filter module, connected by means of a grid-like polypropylene case.

Orbifilt 12 is a standard filter module 12" (30 cm) in diameter. The filtration area of one disk is 0.115 m2, and with the number of 16 disks, the total filtration area of one module is 1.8 m2.
