For many years, HOBRA has perceived its role not only as a manufacturer and employer, but also as an active partner in the development of the Broumov region. The company is therefore systematically involved in supporting initiatives that contribute to the improvement of the business environment, education, culture, civic life, and the development of local communities.

 

HOBRA’s long-term commitment to social responsibility, as well as the contributions of the Školník family, has been recognized through the prestigious VIA BONA Award for Corporate Philanthropy (2006) and the Philanthropy in the Regions – Czech Television Award, which was presented in 2017 to Jan Školník and HOBRA–Školník for their outstanding contribution to the development of the Broumov region.

Business Club Broumov

A platform connecting entrepreneurs, companies, and other economically active stakeholders in the region. Its mission is to foster a thriving business environment, facilitate the exchange of experience, and promote cooperation in the strategic development of the Broumov region, including support for education and human capital development.

The Agency’s mission is to responsibly support regional development, encourage the return of former residents and attract creative and talented individuals, and continuously contribute to creating an attractive place to live. It helps create conditions in which individuals, businesses, and organizations can combine their strengths and work together to make the Broumov region a place where people want to live.

Character Development Centre (CERC)

CERC promotes an educational approach that helps schools develop students’ sense of responsibility, integrity, perseverance, and respect for others. In addition to providing knowledge, it supports the development of personal qualities that help people succeed in their careers, family life, and society. HOBRA supports this mission because it believes that the future of both the region and society depends on strong character and responsible individuals.

Educational, Cultural, Sports, and Community Projects in the Broumov Region

HOBRA regularly supports initiatives focused on the development of education, cultural life, sport, and civic engagement within the region. This support also includes the voluntary involvement of the company’s employees in selected projects and community activities.

HOBRA supports the non-manual voluntary activities of its employees in these projects.

In 2006, HOBRA – Školník was awarded the VIA BONA prize for company philanthropy. The firm’s representatives are actively involved in supporting the ideas of a responsible stakeholder approach, including reasonable company philanthropy.
