The production technology has been modified specially to achieve a reduction in metal (calcium, etc.) ion extraction and pyrogens. “C”-series filtersheets are intended for filtration applications in the beverage industry and are especially suitable for cognac, brandy and whiskey filtration. Thanks to the decreased pyrogen contents, this sheets are suitable also for pharmaceutical and biotechnological applications.
