Regional Activities - (CSR Concept)

The following sentence is one of the five pillars of the firm’s long-term strategy: „In relation to society, we highlight an ethical, moral and responsible approach. We are a proud and respected part of society“.

Within this approach, HOBRA, through the company management, is an active part of the regional society and strives to contribute to its development. The fundamental precondition of purposeful work in this respect is support and cooperation on a wide basis. Therefore, the company backed the initiation of two non-profit organizations within regional development, namely:

• Podnikatelský klub Broumovska o.s. (Broumov Region Entrepreneurship Club)
  Meeting and cooperation of economically active people and organizations in business environment development. One of the important lynchpins is the development of education capacities in the region. Meeting and common formulation of standpoints concerning regional development is a matter of course making it possible to better know the environment affecting the strategic plans of firms and the whole region.
• Agentura pro rozvoj Broumovska o.s. (Broumov Region Development Agency)
  An organization aimed at the development of cooperation and projects in culture, social life and tourism. These activities, backed by the organization on the basis of a community foundation, are being extended actively. The Broumov Region Development Agency (APRB) takes care of the monastery GARDEN* in Broumov (National Cultural Monument), the Town of Broumov cultural program and the GARDENS*. It acts as a service organization when preparing projects and applications for supports from public resources. APRB operates the Broumov “Internet Region”. APRB is the principal organizer of the top classical music festival taking place in the “Group of Baroque Churches of Broumov” built by Dientzenhofer architects.

HOBRA supports the non-manual voluntary activities of its employees in these projects.

In 2006, HOBRA – Školník was awarded the VIA BONA prize for company philanthropy. The firm’s representatives are actively involved in supporting the ideas of a responsible stakeholder approach, including reasonable company philanthropy.
